Procurement

The Procurement Division of Business Services Department is committed to the principles of open competition and fairness.

We provide exemplary support to our City departments and the business community by offering strategic and innovative services and opportunities in the procurement of goods and services, through commitment to our values of accountability, ethics, impartiality, professionalism, service and transparency.

Evidence of this commitment is supported by the City of Tucson being the proud recipient of the annual "Achievement of Excellence in Procurement" (AEP) award. We are one (1) of only five (5) agencies to have received this award annually ever since the AEP program's inception in 1995.

This award recognizes organizational excellence in public procurement. The annual award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score on a rating of benchmark criteria. The program is designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity, and leadership.
