Living Wage

Employees of contractors providing specified services to the City are paid $9.74 per hour if the contractor provides health insurance benefits and $10.96 per hour if the contractor does not provide health insurance benefits. This wage is paid for the hours the contractor’s employees work on specified services to the City. In the case of existing contracts, this rate is phased in at time of contract renewal or award.

The above wage rates will remain in effect until December 31, 2009.
